We are excited to announce that Furniture Solutions Network is expanding to Europe! In 2021, the UNITERS Group, with its subsidiaries UNITERS North America and FSN, made their debut as the first vertically integrated furniture service provider in the industry. Since then, the UNITERS Group has seen exceptional growth and an overwhelmingly positive response from clients and consumers. From protection plans, our technician network, parts availability, and product development; our domestic success has been the driving force behind expanding internationally.

UNITERS SpA, based in Montecchio Maggiore Italy, is the founding Company of the UNITERS Group and the hub for product development and production of all UNITERS and Leather Master furniture care products. In addition, UNITERS SpA maintains sales, marketing, human resources, information technology, and call center departments which provide quality service and support for all European clients and customers.

FSN Europe will implement the same services as their North American counterpart; focusing on leather, upholstery, and hard surface repairs and cleanings. FSN Europe currently includes a network of 65 independent technicians, and supporting infrastructure that manages and coordinates customers, technicians, stock parts, and much more. Alessandra Mecenero, VP of Sales, will lead this endeavor and will work closely with Rex Folkerts, Executive Vice President of the UNITERS Group. Alessandra has been with UNITERS SpA for over 30 years, leading product development, managing sales, and overseeing client services.

History

In 2006, UNITERS SpA created a Service Division, managed by Alice Gonano, to oversee client relations and to help provide an excellent customer experience after the sale. As the team grew, she was joined by Nevio Dal Maso. Nevio’s main responsibility was to recruit and train technicians. His search began in Italy, looking for experienced upholstery and leather technicians that were tech-savvy and able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate in-home service repairs. 

As the team expanded, Nevio conducted training sessions for the technician network. Courses included best practices for product use, digital awareness, etiquette, and of course repairing upholstery and leather furniture.

Over the years, we changed processes, redirected focuses, and redefined our outlook; all while growing the business and learning from our parent company, the UNITERS Group. In 2021, Furniture Solutions Network joined as a subsidiary of the UNITERS Group. Their knowledge and expertise has been shared with the Service Division at UNITERS SpA, and almost two decades after originally creating the division, we are proud to launch as a combined endeavor - FSN Europe.
