In 2001, Rex Folkerts, our CEO, was a single-service technician conducting repairs as a side job while working full time within Minnesota and Iowa. He quickly realized that demand for his services outgrew his part-time availability.
Due to the demand for his services, he quickly became a full-time self-employed service technician. Rex grew his business and began to hire individuals to work with him in order to keep up with the demand.
As the business continued to grow and demand was spreading into several other states, Rex partnered with an individual to create his own proprietary software system (SOS) to help increase efficiency and create a whole new experience for clients and technicians in the way of nationwide, in-home furniture repair. This led to the inception of Furniture Solutions Network (FSN) approximately two years ago.
